The X-rite ProfileMaker 5.10 software I now use is a recent upgrade. It is a very sophisticated software profiling package. Gretag states that this new version (specifically the 'Colorful' profile option - see next paragraph) produces smoother color transitions, and in the 'Colorful' gamut option one finds better detail and modulation in reds, better detail in dark green colors, better dark details in browns, and better modulation in blues. Professional color management specialists use this software world wide.

This software offers the opportunity to produce three gamut mapping variations (or profiles) from the targets you supply, and these are termed 'Colorful, Classic, and Chroma+'. The 'Colorful' profile gamut mapping option is described in the paragraph above, the 'Classic' profile gamut places a heavy emphasis on lightness reproduction and on preserving detail in the entire color space, and the Chroma+ profile variant places an emphasis on higher chroma in color reproduction, while keeping detail losses to a minimum.

Your profile order will include the 3 gamut's at no extra charge. If for any reason you are not satisfied I will refund your cost.

Pack targets with cardboard stiffener and mark DO NOT BEND - FRAGILE. Occasionally I have received targets that have become bent in mailing.

I want you to be satisfied with the profile's you purchase. If your result is not satisfactory, lets work together to produce the best result possible. Consequently, if you have difficulty please contact me prior to 30 days from receipt of the profiles.
